Blessing Ceremony
Begin in the center of the room that holds the front entrance door. Set your intention to clear, honor, and bless the space. Light the Sage.
I call upon the energy that flows from the Four Directions, the Earth’s Energy, and Divine Energy to assist me as I clear, bless, and honor this space.
Begin by facing East and turning to the South, West, and North as you invoke the directions
I honor the East – the direction from which the day begins and new energy flows
I honor the South – the direction from which abundance flows with the peaking of the mid-day Sun.
I honor the West - the direction of the setting Sun, the completion of the day, from which trust and faith flow
I honor the North – the direction from which Divine understanding flows
(remain in the center of the room - facing North)
I honor the center for which I stand. The connection of the Divine Consciousness above and the Earth’s Energy below flows through me and grounds me.
Father God, Mother Earth, Divine Directions, with Love and Gratitude I ask for your guidance and protection as I clear, bless, and honor this space.
Moving from room to room – with the lit sage - using the feather smudging fan – allows the smoke to flow into the area. Repeat the following in each room.
With this Sage, I clear all negativity
With this Sage, I Bless this space
With this Sage, I create a Sacred Space
Returning to your beginning location – Extinguish the Sage. Light the Palo Santo, and move once again from room to room, fanning the smoke into each area.
With this Holy Wood, I fill this space with positive energy
With this Holy Wood, I bless this place
With this Holy Wood, I create a Sacred Space
Return to your beginning location – allowing the Palo Santo to remain burning
I honor the earth upon which this dwelling rests
I honor the hands that crafted this place
I honor the souls that have resided in (worked in, passed through) this space
Creator, Mother Earth, Divine Directions, with Love and Gratitude I thank you for filling this space with the infinite supply of healing love energy that flows from you.
I now declare this a sacred place.
So it is. So it shall be. Amen.
